End Shyness Now Are You Stuck

scan0013.jpg

I have been seeking personal experiences from people that are shy.  Many people have been writing to me.  One thing I hear over and over is this.  It seems that being shy puts you in an endless, circular loop.  You want to meet people but you are too shy.  You are too shy to go out and meet people.

So what can you do?  You can stay in your loop.  You can give in to not meeting people because you are too shy.  You can continue feeling these feelings and feel sadder and sadder.

OR

You can break out.  You can get out of the loop.  How?  That option is up to you.  Make the effort.  Do it even though you feel uncomfortable.  If you think back you did things in your life that felt uncomfortable.  Yet you did them anyways.  Maybe you felt you had to.  Maybe you felt you had no choice.  You were unable to avoid doing them.  If you got through those times when not start to use this same plan to get through your shyness.  Many people have written to me that they did overcome their shyness. Why shouldn’t you be one of them?

The Buddy System to Overcoming Shyness

scan00131.jpg

The other day I posted a question about shyness on a popular website.  The question was, “How did you overcome your shyness?”  There were many excellent answers.

One of the answers that was shared by many was this.  Many people were inspired to end their shyness from a buddy.  From someone who was their personal cheerleader and supporter.

You probably have this person already in your life and you do not know it.  Is there someone in your life right now that encourages you and supports you?  Is there someone in your life right now that invites you to do things with them?  Is there someone in your life right now that encourages you to come out of your shell?  This is your buddy supporter and personal cheerleader.  This is the person that is your private helper.

Listen to this person.  Go places with them.  They are your key to overcoming your shyness.  They are on your side.  They like you.  Your shyness is not a problem to them.  You are working on overcoming your shyness just by being with this person.  Isn’t that amazing?  Keep going.  You are on the way to overcoming your shyness.

Tip One for Overcoming Shyness

Everyone has an image to take care of. Whether you like it or not, people will often scrutinize your looks. If you want to create your image, decide now! You can stand by and improve your own image or be a shadow of someone else. Many people shy away because they are so conscious of their appearance. Here is one simple step on how to enhance your image and to build the must have self confidence.

1. Feel good about yourself

Positive thinking is a good enhancer of personality. Nothing compares to an aura of self contentment and serenity. Shyness is developed by negative thoughts that others are far better than you. Stop that nonsense and start appreciating yourself. Look at the mirror every morning and say to yourself “You are a beautiful creation of God!”

I Can Do It

 I Can Do It
Being shy is something that I live with.  It is not bad all the time.  Just some of the time.  Like the time I wanted to ask for a raise.  But I didn’t.  I couldn’t.  That really bothered me.  It bothered me enough to do some research. I found a place where I can learn how to end my shyness. I found a way to do this.
